Abstract
Fulbright fellow Jack Hogan spent one year at TU Delft comparing flood risk policymaking and design methods in the Netherlands and the United States. In a San Francisco Bay case study supervised by Bas Jonkman and Ties Rijcken (TU Delft) and Nadine Slootjes (Deltares), the Dutch approach was found to have actionable advantages for sea level rise adaptation in Northern California.
