Innover – Eduquer – Créer : Le centre de ressources de la bibliothèque de l’université technologie de Delft

Ten years ago, no-one could have predicted what today’s study landscape would look like. Nor could anyone have known that digitisation would have taken off in the way that it has. It was the changing habits of students and how they use the library that prompted the TU Delft Library to take a critical look, only ten years after opening, at its design and layout. The changes it is making also promote more efficient use of the rooms. The library is being turned into a Library Learning Centre whose motto is ‘innovate, educate, create’. It is a building in which users will feel at home and where they will be happy to stay. But it is not just students, all library users will be able to visit: young, old, pensioners or anyone who is just interested will feel welcome in this ‘centre of belonging’.
