Modeling tidal morphodynamics at the channel-mudflat interface

Model results show different adaptation time scales of the channel mudflat system, but no equilibrium in the strict sense. Our numerical, process-based modeling
approach allows for a detailed analysis of the underlying processes, which is part of ongoing efforts.
