Abstract

This paper presents, in the context of the Harmony Earth Explorer 10 mission candidate, approaches to retrieve high resolution sea surface wind vectors and ocean surface velocity fields, with the focus on studying local deformations of these fields (convergence, divergence, vorticity) rather than mean flows.
