Abstract
Many e-learning tools enable students and teachers to send messages to each other. But it proves that this facility is hardly used by students. Social media are used by students on a large scale but the topic of conversation is usually out of the study domain. The challenge of educators is to motivate students to use social media for study goals. In this paper we present an analysis of the use of social media by students in their technical study and results of experiments to increase the use of social media.
