    Abstract

This paper describes a new electromagnetic field sensor for a near-field antenna measurements in time-domain. The sensor is based on the shielded loop antenna. There are two principal novelties in our approach. First, we use sensors with much larger size ( in comparison with the minimal wavelength) as have been used before, thus operating in a different from the B-dot mode of the loop antenna. Second, we developed a procedure of the field measurements with several different loops in order to determine impedently all Cartesian components of the incident electric field in the antenna-under-test near-zone. The procedure has been succesfully verified experimentally.
