Abstract

In this paper, a state space model for n-parallel connected dc-dc buck converters is developed, and a predictive current control strategy is derived. A better dynamic response by eliminating the transient overshoot in the output current is incorporated in the prediction algorithm. Finally, a corrective term for output converter resistance is introduced for reduction in reference tracking error.
