Abstract
This paper discusses from the one hand the crucial interdependency that could occur between heritage studies and on the other hand the design sciences and technology. Propositions will be mainly focused on some aspects such as modelling, knowledge extraction and design reasoning paradigm. Therefore, feedback and suggestion will be mostly associated with domains of architectural design, ecology, environment and urban planning. This paper briefly presents of the main components of `Augmented Heritage¿ (AH). Then we will focus on the modelling task which is, in our view, the key access to an enhanced AH universe. In this paper we are more interested in archaeological heritage.
