Turbulent Boundary Layer Over Acoustic Liners

Research output: Chapter in Book/Conference proceedings/Edited volume › Chapter › Scientific › peer-review

Abstract

Aircraft engines are the primary source of noise during take-off and landing. To reduce noise emissions, passive noise control devices called acoustic liners cover the interior of engine nacelles. Acoustic liners consist of a honeycomb core, bounded by a porous top face-sheet and a solid backplate.
