Description
This seminar will address landscape education and practice in the European context, introducing the challenges through a series of presentations and then discussing some themes in a roundtable. The session will be organized in two main parts. In the first part, the following presentations will take place: Landscape Architecture education worldwide and the role of the landscape architect; Education and professional practice in Europe and the creation of a Common Training Framework (CTF); The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria declaration to promote a coordinated transdisciplinary approach. In the second part, the session will include a debate on landscape education on the following themes: Awareness of landscape throughout all educational levels (primary, secondary, tertiary); Landscape education for the elderly and for non-scholars (workers, farmers, tourists, etc.); The recognition of landscape studies in the professional environment.| Period | 9 Jun 2022 |
