On Tuesday 14th April, Dr. Roberto Rocco, Associate Professor of Spatial Planning and Strategy at the Department of Urbanism, TU Delft, will be presenting Slums in the time of Corona: How the Coronavius Pandemic Might Change How We Deal With Informal Urbanisation. In the face of COVID-19, the risks posed to inhabitants in informal settlements is vast. In some places, the option to isolate or socially distance is impossible. Will this pandemic alter the way we approach the topic of slums?
