Ahmed M. Abouelmaty, born in July 1990 in Egypt, completed his B.Sc. at AAST, Alexandria, Egypt (ABET-accredited university) in July 2012, achieving distinction with an honorary degree. He obtained his M.Sc. degree from the same university in May 2015 with distinction. In the post-graduate school at AASTMT, he focused on soil structural interaction performance under vibration. In parallel, Ahmed starts his professorial career as an assistant lecturer in AAST from 2013 to 2019. Between 2020 and July 2022, Ahmed worked as a researcher fellowship in the FCT (the Portuguese national funding agency for science, research, and technology) project VIPIB under grant number PTDC/ECI-CON/29634/2017. In August 2022, Ahmed was ranked by FCT in the second position among 118 international comparators in the " 2022 Call for Ph.D. Studentships Regular line in scientific and academic institutions ", and he obtained a fund for three years. After he submitted his his PhD thesis for final defense, Ahmed moved to work as a visiting researcher in TU-Delft for under a project focuses on monopile under the driving process.
