Passionate about navigating the intersection of technology and society, I specialize in the multifaceted study areas of AI Ethics, Data Privacy, and Digital Sociology. Leveraging a socio-technical framework, my research interrogates the societal implications of cutting-edge technologies with an aim to tailor responsible innovation approaches.
In my current role as a PhD researcher at TU Delft, in collaboration with the Quantum Delta NL program and under the supervision of Dr. Pieter Vermaas and Dr. Clare Shelley-Egan, I'm focused on adapting ethics methodologies, particularly RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation) and DFV (Design for Values), to the field of Quantum Technologies.
The research project is rooted in practical applications, particularly considering the unique attributes of quantum technologies in the spheres of global geopolitics and corporate strategies. My work aims to integrate these distinct characteristics into a coherent and tailored ethical framework, ensuring that the advancement of Quantum Technologies aligns with societal values and ethical considerations.
