Research profile

Gozde's research interests include mechanics of construction materials, nondestructive evaluation techniques, material science, image processing, construction materials testing procedures, life cycle assessment and recycling. She has completed several research projects to develop an environmentally friendly, high performance green concrete that enhances the durability and sustainability of construction.

Academic background

She received my M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey, both in Civil Engineering. She worked as a graduate teaching and research assistant in the Civil Engineering Department at METU from 2003 until 2009. She joined Center of Advanced Materials (CAM) at in 2009 and worked as an Associate Researcher/Assistant Professor in the same department. She has been working at TU Delft since April 2022 as lecturer in the Materials and Environment section of Civil Engineering and Geosciences.
