Research profile

Yilin Huang received the Ph.D. degree in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, she was a postdoctoral researcher working on prosumer behavior modeling in the smart grids. Since 2016, she has been an Assistant Professor in M&S at the Section of Systems Engineering and Simulation, Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, Delft University of Technology. Her research mainly concerns M&S methodology with particular interests in data-driven and data analytics related subjects, interoperability and composability of dynamic models. The application domain of her research ranges from transportation and logistics, smart grid, sustainable consumption to humanitarian innovations.
