Zhuochao Peng is a PhD candidate in the Department of Human-Centered Design and a member of the Delft Institute of Positive Design. His doctoral research seeks to understand the unique role of human mood in design and explore the approaches to Mood-Focused Design. Specifically, he focuses on two ways of considering and addressing user/customer mood in design: designing with the intention of influencing mood and utilizing mood as a means for effective design or strategic advantage.
